Route guidelines

Day 1: drive Haridwar → Rishikesh → Rudraprayag → Guptkashi or Sonprayag. Day 2: shared jeep to Gaurikund, then trek, pony or palki to Kedarnath.

Registration

Char Dham yatra registration is mandatory; carry the registration slip and ID.

Safety

  • Start the trek early to finish before afternoon rain.
  • Carry warm and waterproof layers in all seasons.
  • Helicopter tickets only through the official booking site.
